Make money playing games
Game offers pay you for reaching a milestone inside a mobile game — a level, a village, a chapter. The money comes from the game's advertising budget, not from other players and not from you. What varies enormously is how long the milestone takes, and that is the part most pages skip.

What a game offer actually is
An advertiser — usually a mobile game studio — wants players who will still be there in a week. Paying for installs alone gets them people who open the app once and delete it, so instead they pay for a milestone: reach level 500, finish chapter 3, get to village 15.
That milestone is the whole deal. The payout you see is the price the advertiser put on someone reaching it. We are paid when you do, and you are paid a share.
The kind of games these offers run on
Reward offers follow advertising budgets, so they cluster on the biggest games in the market. These are the titles that show up on reward platforms again and again — including ours, though availability changes constantly and varies by country, so treat this as the shape of the category rather than a menu:
| Game | Genre | What a reward offer usually asks for |
|---|---|---|
| Monopoly GO! | Dice / board | Reach a board level or an album milestone |
| Royal Match | Match-3 puzzle | Clear a specific level, often several hundred in |
| Coin Master | Board / spins | Reach a numbered village |
| Candy Crush Saga | Match-3 puzzle | Clear a level milestone |
| Gardenscapes · Homescapes | Match-3 + story | Finish an area or chapter |
| Whiteout Survival | Survival strategy | Reach a furnace or HQ level |
If you have never heard of the game and the reward looks unusually large, that is a reason to read the terms carefully rather than to click faster.
What game offers actually pay
Nobody in this niche likes publishing this, so here is what independent testing outside our own platform reports:
- Dedicated play-to-earn apps such as Mistplay: $0.50–$1.50 per active hour. One reviewer who timed it reached $10 in 18 hours — about $0.56/hour.
- Offerwall platforms like Freecash: $2–$5 per hour on game offers, $3–$8 across offer types, with independent reviewers putting realistic all-in rates nearer $1–$3/hour.
- Deep milestone offers are advertised at $50 and up. They are real and they are rare, and they take days to weeks of genuine play.
Two things follow. The hourly rate on games is low — this is not a wage and we are not going to suggest otherwise. And the spread is enormous, which means offer selection matters more than time spent.
We do not publish a monthly figure, because it would be a guess. What we do publish is the exact payout on each offer card, before you start.
What decides your payout
- How hard the milestone is. This dominates everything. A first-session goal is worth little; a level that takes a week of evenings is worth a lot, because far fewer people get there.
- Your country. An advertiser’s budget per player is set by what a player in that market is worth to them. The same offer can pay several times more in the US, UK, Canada or Australia, and many offers are not available elsewhere at all. This is the single biggest reason two people see completely different walls.
- The device. Many game offers are Android- or iOS-only. If a wall looks empty, check the device before anything else.
How long it takes
This is the number to look at before the payout, and almost nobody prints it.
“Reach level 500” can mean two evenings or three weeks depending on the game’s pacing — and pacing is designed to slow down exactly where a paid milestone tends to sit. Before starting, look at the milestone rather than the amount, and ask whether you would still be playing that game in three days without being paid. If not, the offer is probably not worth starting.
Shorter offers pay less on paper but finish, which is worth more than a large payout abandoned at level 380.
What happens after you hit the milestone
- The game tells the ad network you reached it.
- The network tells us, and the reward appears in your balance as pending.
- It clears after a holding window.
- Once cleared it can be withdrawn. The first withdrawal goes through identity verification, and every withdrawal is reviewed by a person before it is sent.
Steps 3 and 4 are where reward platforms differ most, and where the honest answer is less flattering than the marketing. The holding window is not us being slow — it is the gap between the advertiser saying you completed something and the advertiser being sure. Conversions get reversed. A platform that pays instantly and never reverses is either absorbing that cost or is about to stop paying instantly.
Before you start
- Start from the offer link, every time. Opening the game from the App Store directly breaks attribution, and there is often no way to reattach it.
- Turn off the VPN. Offers are geo-targeted, and a mismatch between your account country and your connection is one of the most common rejection reasons.
- Do not uninstall until the reward has cleared. Some advertisers check the app is still installed at the point of payment.
- One account. Multiple accounts are the fastest way to lose a balance you actually earned.

Questions
Which games actually pay?
The titles change constantly, but the pattern does not: reward offers run on big, well-funded games with money to spend on acquiring players — Monopoly GO!, Royal Match, Coin Master, Candy Crush Saga, Gardenscapes and similar. If a game you have never heard of is offering an unusually large reward, that is worth a second look rather than a first click.
Do I have to spend money in the game?
No. Every game offer on Earno states whether a purchase is required, and we do not list ones that require one. If a milestone can realistically only be reached by paying, that is a reason to skip the offer — you would be spending real money to earn a smaller amount back.
Why is one game worth a few dollars and another worth fifty?
The advertiser sets the price, and it tracks how much the milestone is worth to them. A quick install-and-open is worth little because most people who do it never come back. Reaching level 500 filters for someone who might actually keep playing and eventually spend, so it is priced far higher — and it takes days or weeks rather than minutes.
My milestone did not register. What now?
Most missing credits come from an ad blocker, a VPN, or starting the game outside the Earno link, which breaks the tracking that tells the advertiser the progress was yours. Open a support ticket with the offer name and a screenshot of your in-game progress and we will chase the provider. Keep the game installed until it is resolved.
How long until I can actually withdraw it?
A reward is credited as pending and clears after a holding window. That window exists because advertisers can and do reverse conversions — for fraud, for a chargeback, or because their own checks failed — and paying out money that is later taken back is a loss we would have to recover from you.
